My feet is so fked up my wife has been trying to get me to go. So I finally succumbed. I’m going to do it. Going to go with her and the kid to get pedi’s. She wants me to go regularly

Lol

What if I like it?

So plans today bang out the cardio and weights from 5 to 8 and go home and go get a pedi pre breakfast

Who’s gone? Who goes normally? Did u like it

I have done it a couple of times as my wife insisted i try with her. Feet feel great after. They look healthier. Not a regular, I only go if she insists and sort of makes them(wife) feel good.....sort of like a date for them!

I like to think of it as a medical treatment to prevent back injuries. No need to stretch those back and leg muscles to reach your feet!

It’s rare for me. But I enjoy it when I do it.

As you know recently had one. It was sublime.

Marathon runner here, so +1 for the fk’d feet club.

My wife has taken me 3 times. It’s not an unenjoyable experience. It’s just “meh” for me. Not sure why? Perhaps just don’t see the point as I’m not really a sandals/flip flops/feet need to be on display kind of guy. But the foot rub is worth the cost of admission.

The real kick in the ass is that you don’t need to speak Vietnamese to know the ladies in our salon are talking shit about my feet....

Guilty here too.

I have chronic plantar fasciitis in both feet. A proper pedicure feels like heaven, especially the calf massage.

Guilty pleasure of mine I love it and it’s so relaxing.

I get a mani every two weeks and a pedi once a month (maybe less often in fall and winter).

I have done it before but not my favorite thing. My wife and two daughters use the service a lot. I go every few years.

I have had to them done a couple of times before marathons to remove some of the hard calluses from all the training. Very relaxing.

No stranger is touching my feet. Secondly, can’t imagine those places are hygienic. I don’t care how well they clean the place.

Nobody touches my feet. Too sensitive. When I go for a massage I have to specifically instruct them not to touch my feet.

X2. I am perfectly able to take care of my own hands and feet. I'm not the kind of person who needs "pampering".

Had my first in 2005, my second in 2019. Once every 14-15 years is about right for me.

One word of advice, don’t let them polish your toe nails. And I don’t mean nail polish, I mean the little Dremmel like tool the use. They did that to me in my first pedicure and my toe nails were unnaturally shiny for months.

Never had a manicure and never will.

I had my first pedicure in Bangkok a couple weeks ago, just a pedicure I swear I can't say I enjoyed it much, but I did enjoy the results. The woman was practically a surgeon she had to do so much work. Best part was dealing with a slightly ingrown nail and shaving down the calluses. I'm going to have to book one of these every couple months for maintenance.

Had one once. Took my girls to get mani/pedi’s a few years ago and was while waiting for them, got talked into trying it.

Didn’t hate it but wasn’t an earth moving experience for me. Haven’t had another.

My wife does manicures and pedicures about every three weeks, I will usually go with her once every 2 or three visits.

It is quite relaxing - and good “maintenance” for your feet. Especially if you have any issues, dry skin, potential bone spurs, nail issues etc.

Enjoy my friend.

I probably go every 5 weeks, it took awhile to get used to someone touching my feet but once you get past that it's pretty enjoyable.

I like a pedi.

As an Ex once pointed out, us men mangle our feet something nasty, so if you are ever going on vacation where your toes are out, do the world (and your significant other) a favor and have a professional fix them nasty things up.

I HATE having the bottom of my feet touched, so I have to manage that, other than that I love them.

I also get them before leaving on golf and ski trips, or anywhere my feet might could get beat up.

me too!

I have to warm them that if they do touch, an involuntary reflex might hurt them.

Geez, I hate to do some bubble busting around here, but really, mani/pedi is for women.

Manly men need not apply.

Not against it, just haven't done it.

Like facelifts, could be good, just haven't done it.

I'm always amused at the "manly" thing. Once upon a time wearing jewelry and wrist watches wasn't manly either.
