My Wrist Shrunk

I have lost 42 lbs., thank you very much, and am now back to my semi-svelte self. The problem is my that my wrist has shrunk with the rest of me and my President Tridor bracelet has gotten too big. I had a link removed and now it is a tad tight; it closes, but my wrist feels a bit claustrophobic. There are no 1/2 links for this bracelet or other easy adjustments. So, short of losing even more weight, which could happen, any suggestions on how to get a good fit on the bracelet?

Awesome! Not to change the thread topic but I'm down 25#!
My wrist changed slightly. I just pushed the watch up a little higher. Also since it's still hot here in California, my bracelet watches stay put a little better than in the winter.
BTW, would love to see a pic of your Tridor. I'm a fan! But I don't have one :(

Hi, first of all, congrats on the weight loss, that is awesome!

Does the Tridor bracelet have available a 1.25 link (for order) as do the other presidential bracelets? If so, you could try one or two of those to dial in the right fit. Good luck,

I would enjoy nothing more than having to buy an entire new set of clothes, after losing 50 pounds. My Rolex budget would go to hell, but that's the price of good health and well being. Unfortunately, happiness might have to go ...

Well done with the weight! Been there, doing that! How much more weight do you have to lose? Maybe the problem will take care of itself if you lose more weight?

Congratulations on the weight loss! I am in a similar situation (lost 52 pounds) and my wrist got a lot smaller. I have opted to wear my watch loose. That gives me some benefits: a) I am constantly proud of my new wrist size and b) when it gets warm, my watch does not strangle my wrist!

The holes on my clasp are half the size of a link. I have adjusted the clasp to make a smaller adjustment than removing a link.

(Sorry if I have just recommended something that is not possible for your watch.)

Congrats to you. I have cut out most carbs this year and the weight has just dropped off, but it does mean readjusting your bracelets, God bless the glidelock.

Thanks, folks. Wish my President had the Glidelock like my Sub. I likely will lose a few more pounds, so that may take care of the problem.

BTW, I lost the weight by "clean eating." No pasta, bread, rice or potatoes, doing the treadmill for 1/2 an hour per day, and keeping caloric intake to a maximum of 1,500 calories daily. The weight came off rather easily since I wasn't eating all the bad stuff anymore. It requires a bit of discipline at first, but is worth the reward. It also helps to have a wife who's an awesome chef and who can make a quinoia pizza crust containing about 100 calories per slice.

1.25 links are the answer. 1-2 should do it.

There are no 1/2 links made for this bracelet. Full links only.

First of all congrats on your weight loss. You can go to Walgreens or CVS. In the foot care section they have corn removers. At Walgreens they have their own brand. These are clear disks with salcilic acid. Note you don't use those. In the same package is some clear gel disks. You apply one of those to the case back. It's exactly the same size of the case back. It's unnoticeable unless you take your watch off. It takes up the space. It's very comfortable. It's not permanent. When you lose more weight you can take it off and take out that other link. BTW there is no adhesive left on the watch either. I speak from experience. Good luck and keep up the heathy living.

This is one of the reasons I love this place. Thanks for the tip. I will definitely try this. And, thanks to all for the good wishes. You guys are the best!
