My trusty Seiko SNA411 now on a NATO strap. This was my daily watch until I got the Rolex.

About a week ago, I picked up a Seiko Samurai (SRPB49k1) and it quickly became a firm favourite of mine. Why? Because its a poor man's Royal Oak!

Under dim lighting, it can look almost black:

But as I have quite a number of watches that get no wear, I have decided to to let go of some other dust collectors... :-(

Very nice. I have a blue lagoon. After several attempts, the first Seiko I've liked. May get another for NATO duties.

I was also seriously considering the Blue Lagoon, but the Clous de Paris dial was calling for me. My long time grail has always been the 15300 Royal Oak, and this SRPB49 fits the bill almost perfectly and at just a fraction of the price. Actually, all the new Samurais look really, really good.

Happy Friday everyone
It’s a Seiko day for me to start the weekend.
In different lighting just can’t capture what a great old watch this is.

I need to update my Seiko collection picture, but for now, this one has been getting a lot of wrist time!

Solar Chrono Diver

I still think its on of the most bang for bucks in "budget" Seiko Diver

WR200M, good lume, great proportion, screwdown chrono buttons, 1/5 sec steps chrono second hand, the buttons has a decent click feedback. Its just a fantastic watch for the money.

Turtle PADI with Strapecode Jubilee and 300MM claps, this upgrade make the watch a joy to wear. Now if I can upgrade the crown and tube to be on par as swiss watches.

Seiko Watches Picture Thread.

Just finished this Seiko build a few days ago. Christmas present for my sister. Which is a budding “watch lover”. This will be her first automatic.

SNK case, 37mm, brushed bezel & sides, lug tops polished, applied marker no date dial, lumed SS w/lollipop seconds hand, manual wind/hacking 23 jewel movement, Fluco suede strap.

Would like to hear opinions ???????????
