Diver decision made...

I was convinced that I wanted the new D Blue or SDC. To make room for the incoming I flipped my 114060.
Went to my AD the day he received the D Blue to try things out.
The dial is great but I was quickly reminded that the thickness is a bit much for me. I have owned the black dial version twice and sold for this same reason. A new dial wouldn't change that.
The SDC I already knew was a great piece but didn't give me that giddy feeling to justify the purchase.
I tried on the 114060 and immediately thought "why the hell did I flip this?!".
For me, it's the flat crystal, wider lugs and slimmer profile that I prefer over the others.
I feel refreshed and content with my current Rolex line up which might (hopefully) allow me to focus on Patek.
The 114060 is a must have! Walked out with a fresh BNIB one straight out of the safe.

One should never stray too far from one of the most reliable, desirable watches extant. A cornerstone for anyone who needs to know to what time it is.

I just did something super similar.

The 114060 was gone for about a week.

Then picked it back up again. Glad it's back in the fold.

It shan't be leaving again.

Don't ever sell / trade / flip Rolex watches. Only ADD to the collection

Lovely watch, seriously considering a non date as my next purchase, somehow prefer the clean look!

Good purchase

I find the 114060 and the 116600 to be very different watches, and I honestly think I like the 114060 slightly better, despite being a massive fan of all Dwellers. I think you made a great choice.
