I like bracelets and I think they can look great next to your watch but I do worry about scrateches so mostly wear them on the other wrist. I am looking at a Hermes Hook or Choke bracelet myself.

That was exactly what I was thinking!! LOL, great response!

In any case, not really my style. My watch always rides solo, any doodads go on the other wrist, if any.
I am thinking mine may also need to ride solo! But I like certain pieces

Agreed 100%.

The picture I had taken really makes it seem like the hook connects with the watch, it doesn't! It wraps around the wrist 3 times and has three pieces of leather to go through before it hits the watch.

That is exactly the piece I want. The Hermes Hook. I thought I would give these guys a shot and see how it works out! I think I'll end up with the Hermes sooner than later!

Scratches from normal wear may add character, but scratches caused by foolishness such as wearing something metal on your wrist next to your expensive watch are just unnecessary scratches, IMO.

Hope you do would like to see how it looks, esp if its a double and you can wrap a piece of leather in between. I'm also looking at a Hapi bracelet, looks more watch friendly.

Hawaiian fish hook? Wear a necklace with one. I like it.

Keep in mind many people that will say scratches will also tell people wear their watch and not worry about scratches.

Yes, the Makau! I paddle board. I won a race last year and part of the winnings was a Makau necklace. Since then my luck has been on the up. So I started researching hooks and came across the Hermes hook bracelet (but no so much a hook) and this company that made this also came up. So I decided to give it a try!
As far as the scratches, I agree with you. I consider you all like my brother and sisters, give me the brutal truth as well as your opinionated ways! I personally don't care weather the watch gets scratched due to regular wear or my watch gets scratched because I am wearing something next to it! To each their own!

Becareful with those things... they can damage your watch, create all types of pulls that can damage your shirts, your watch and your self.

Be congnizant of the direction of the hook and you should be ok. Just like how most of us are careful with scratching PCLs and have been successful

I'm in the 90% also but all I can think is scratches too. I wouldn't be able to do that, even if i liked to wear accessories
