wow what a beautiful watch, I have the 16808 blue for a month last summer than upgraded to the YM2 gold. I just saw yours and now I have a love for the 1608/8 black.

I live in NYC maybe one day we can meet for a coffee also I own a shop in the city as well.

This one. The combination of blue and serti dial gets a lot of interest. Funny, because it's my least expensive Rolex.

From watch folks, I get the most comments on my DD meteorite dial. It's a dial few have seen before.

My Rolex Sub C gets the most attention with its shiny bezel and reflective glass. People are unusually mesmerized by it.

Definitely the hulk. I didn't receive a single comment on the black SubC, but I received quite a few comments from friends and strangers on the hulk. I'll have to wait and see if people notice the DaytonaC :)

Depends on where I am at to which watch someone might comment on. I have noticed that people do notice your watch. They might not say it but obvious glances and double takes happen all the time. I think many feel it might not be polite to comment on your watch and I kinda agree. I do like to give a compliment if it's in the right social circumstance if I see a nice watch.
Then there are areas in the country like NY city that are conditioned to never look at anything or say a word or have the "nothing impresses me" attitude. Your hair could be on fire down town NY and no one would even notice.

My Daytona gets commented on all the time! (when I go to the local AD)

IRL, it hasn't been noticed in the five months I've owned it, although that's been 99% long sleeve weather.

In the 30 years I wore my TT DJ, I got maybe a dozen comments. I don't really remember.

I think in the same way that one (hopefully) wouldn't compliment a complete stranger at the supermarket with "That's a beautiful diamond ring!," in the US most people who didn't know you and weren't talking to you would be reluctant to say anything about your watch.

Daily wear 116610LV green sub for four years, almost nothing on the compliment side.

However had multiple comments in the few short months of owning the BLNR. Even the local restaurant owner sparked conversation which led to a discussion about 116520 vs 116500.

I think the PCL really do catch the eyes.

My Hulk gets the rare comment, usually along the lines of "I've never seen a green Submariner."

I've had a few comment's on my Blue Sub 116613Lb once from a dodgy character who asked my where I got the Watch I told him in no uncertain words to mind his own business I would say if I had of shown any nerves I think he might have tried to mug me. I have never had a compliment on my Daytona 116503 but where I'm from not many people wear Rolex or would know one if the saw it, it mainly happens in hospitals

I wear a Rolex everyday, and have done since 1981, I can't remember anyone ever commenting. Just the way I like it!

My blue DJ2. I think the sparkly fluted bezel gets their attention.

I attended an Internet Marketing Conference in San Diego last year and 2 or 3 people a day complimented my GMT Master II/Pepsi. Maybe a San Diego thing?

This included a vagrant who correctly identified the watch from about 10 feet away, even said "Pepsi style."
