Some love for the new AK......
Seems like the latest AK is a real love it or hate it piece. I liked it from day one so having just acquired one I thought it was time to post a few eye candy shots. If anyone is on the fence about this model then all I would say is go try one in person.

Great photos! exceptional.
I would like to give the AirKing a try. An AirKing was my first Rolex, although long gone now and I know and I know the new mode is pretty far cry from the original. Still, in the spirt of progress I would really like to see one from myself. I'm sure like many things Rolex you have to see one to truly appreciate it. |

I like it except I'd wish they would have substituted the 3-6-9 numbers with 15-30-45 instead.

Yeah this isn't the first time they've done it. The new DJ 41 measures 39.25 and supposedly someone measured their Daytona and it measured in at 38.5 mm

It's 40mm same as Milgauss (or should be)...it's definitely bigger than the Exp and that's meant to be 39.
Congrats and I love the pics |

Chaps
I think the AK is a watch that is just not photogenic. I saw several pics of the watch when it was released and my impression was that Rolex must have been mad to release such an abomination. However I saw one in the flesh when walking past a Rolex shop a year or so later and it looked absolutely brilliant. I can see it becoming a future classic. Regards Mick |

Always have loved the AK ever since getting a 5500 yrs ago.
...Love the AK... But I am also a lover of clean stick dials so this dial is a bit busy.
