Nice pick up. I've actually been considering adding a YG LB to my collection. I already have a YG LN Ceramic. I've had a TT Smurf and a SubC ND. I also have a 16610LV. I like how you explain the older bracelet. I feel the same way and I'm now considering adding a 11610lb instead of a six digit model.

I appreciate your review.

The horologist at my AD says it's about $1,200 CAD for the 18K gold ring.........we'll see soon enough I guess...........but the bezel insert is only $100 CAD.

No you don't. I am told that the gold bezel is sold on an exchange basis, so, you are supposedly getting some consideration for the old part.

Thanks for the comments everyone.

Congrats!!!

Since I like to wear my watches snug, I wonder how this will fit on my wrist. But then again the easy link on a gmt2 works just fine...

Eliot......

Apologize for the cell phone pics.....but it's the best I can do.

Next to no slack in the 18 year old bracelet.......love the lug holes.......and if you look at the 1 minute marker you can see the remainder of the chunk taken out of the bezel ring and insert. It looks like the guy removed the ring and over polished it to hide the dent, as many of the teeth are worn down in that spot, as well as in others.

I am starting to think that I am a little OCD.......heh.......but you can see it with your eyes, and when I compared it to a new sub, the difference in the look and feel of the two bezel rings was night and day. I bought it right knowing it had these issues, so the service and repairs are not a surprise.
