What Do You Think of THIS Daytona/Oysterflex Dial?

Hey, Just curious on your thoughts on this dial.
It was not one of the Basel showcase pieces, but boy did it look great on the wrist.

I saw it and tried on at the AD today and it is one fantastic watch.
Much better than these photos portray. The rose gold subdials really pop and the black dial very nicely blends with the black OF straps.
Overall this combination reminds me of a RG version of the black 116500 on rubber, only the watch really looks even better with gold.

I am also interested in seeing the WG, YG and RG 2017 signature pieces with sunburst dials to match the corresponding gold hues.

I know I want one of these, just tough deciding which one... Leaning RG pink dial still, but must see in person, hopefully soon.
WG is fading for me, though still seems to have the most hype behind it.

One thing for sure, this really BEATS the RG YM in looks IMO.
This is a BIG Win for Rolex... They nailed it.

I like it! I am not a fan of the Daytona normally, but this one is a win!!! I have always been attracted to the YM/OF but this one is awesome!

^^ I agree...

This is the main one I am comparing it to (below).
Keep in mind this is probably a more professional photo and mine is NOT...lol
The black dial I tried on today looks a lot better in person. I am hoping to see the pink dial version soon,
which is lately my #1 contender.

^^ I am on the list for WG too... RG and YG easier to get, but it's a tough call for me since I really have wanted a RG on rubber watch for some time.

I'm more of a leather fan for the Daytonas that aren't on bracelet....but if you like rubber/oysterflex option, that is a gorgeous watch!!

IMO, rose gold on a Daytona is non-traditional, as is Oysterflex. Together it works. Probably not a one and only watch, but would be a cool piece as part of a collection.

Obviously I'm a big fan, when they released the black dial a couple of years ago I snapped it up and a few of the sales staff were even taking pics of it once it was ordered in and on my wrist.

I like it a lot I am with you there I was initially taken to the WG but now I like all of them...

I just couldn't justify the price, at current prices I would add a few thousand to get a gold bracelet.

I tried one on in WG the other day.......Ben Bridge, out in Woodland Hills, Ca., had one in the case. Although, very nice, can't see $28,800 for this watch.

I just realized after seeing your pic again that is the same dial you had on leather.
Why haven't I seen that at the AD? They only have had chocolate and white dials.
That is clearly my favorite of the leather strap dial options.

The new Basel pieces have those fantastic sunburst metallic colors I just gotta see.
I am going to Orlando on Monday to check them out.
But I really love that black...

They released the black and the rose/pink dials a couple of years ago but not widely, the choco and ivory are very common.

Really Rose/Pink has been available too?
Same one as Basel 2017 showcase piece?
I am scratching my head why they did not release those more widely.

Which do you like better of those two on RUBBER..
I think I know but just asking anyway because we are talking about oysterflex.
Just curious ... Thanks Neil

Looks great. I'm also a fan of the rg with the ivory dial. I think the black and ivory faces are more understated compared to the sunburst dials. Wish there were more posts showing these given the are now out at the dealers.

The black dial with gold subdials is nice! I agree the ivory dial is great, too. I'm a big fan of the RG with rubber.

On rubber I'd def go for the black dial, more sporty. The pink dial is also nice and rather glamorous and so better on a leather strap.

I have had my eye caught by a DJ41's champagne dial, so wouldn't be surprised if the gold dial on the OF looks great too. My only issue with the RG is in certain indoor lights the bezel numbers can go a little orange.

Thanks Neil, that is excellent feedback.
David SW said he likes the Yellow gold and Champagne dial best.
Not sure I want yellow gold on rubber but it IS very nice from the pictures.
And he also has the rose gold with pink dial in stock and has seen and sold a WG with silver dial.
I have to say I am leaning black dial (like yours) until proven wrong with the seeing other metal/dial options in person.
