Sky-Dweller Delivery Experience
I think this will be number 34 on this forum.
Absolutely stunning dial. It seems be a different color every time I glance at it. The AD, who I have a good relationship with, requested to remove the stickers “per Rolex policy”. They did not have any issues with me keeping the coffin, both tags, warranty card and all other standard booklets. I also received a nice Rolex pen. The only thing that was unexpected was that I was given one of the small boxes which seemed weird for a watch this large, but since it is SS, maybe that is normal. I did not press the issue. It is now in a drawer and forgotten about anyway. I know this is more detail than many of you care about, but having details like this from others helped my wait. I now have 2/3rds of my SS SEAL collection. 45EDF015-2B44-4D1A-B0A8-046E3CC10C33.jpeg B7F6F461-27D7-4CAF-8421-9C5A62780077.jpeg |

I will send you a PM. Not the Galleria. I know a guy there as well, but at 9am the morning of Basel, he told me I was the 8th to contact him so I went with someone smaller. Their policy for allocation watches was refreshing. No deposit, no wait list. It was first come, first serve at their Basel preview event in June. I bought the watch at that time, but they only sold the number of watches they expected to be able to fulfill this year.
To date, they have received 1 blue, 1 TT white, and my SS white. I know many here object to payment before delivery, but if they are honest and it avoids being jumped in line by friends/family/VIPs, I am not opposed to it. |

I am digging the white more and more...congrats!
You're right about the steel models...they get the small box. At least at my AD, anyway. |

Very nice, congrats on your new Sky D!
SS come with small boxes, unless your AD is out for some reason. Sometimes even the PM come with the smaller boxes... On the bright side it's just a box and the smaller one takes up less storage space |

Thank you all for your kind words.
I had heard before that the SS YM2 and SD43 came in a medium box so I thought the SS Sky may follow suit. A couple of bonus pics: 1) the dial looking silver or grey in indirect light 2) poor quality lime shot. E7428A99-1B3D-4CED-AB31-868062131A49.jpeg 6DBE57AF-7019-4442-8EC2-059F52D70FBF.jpeg Jason |

I thought blue is a must for this model... Apparently the white does look great if not better than the blue...

My SD43 came in the box on the left and my SS SkyD came in the box on the right.

beautiful! Congrats. I think the white dial is the sleeper of the three.
The blue is obviously special, but not for everyone. The black is great, but I suspect in person may here would find the white to be more captivating. Anyhow, i love it! thanks for sharing. |
