If I had a realistic way to get that solid gold one, I would do it ASAP.
Lucky you.

The full gold actually attracts less attention than the TT. But in the end they´re both blingy.

Personally and apposed to popular recommendations here, I would go for the DD and then save up for the LV.

You said that is prime combo so work on that! Plus NOTHING beats a timeless icon (sub) in SS - just as originally intended :).

Cheers!

Both watches are bling! I tried them both on and the weight of the full gold is something else. I have been looking at the two tone for my next watch as the full gold is beyond my reach.

The current version of both watches have the sunburst dial. They are mesmerizing.

I tend to agree, think the contrast of SS and YG can sometimes draw the eye more, but both are pretty blingy so not much in it really.

Trade-up. On the GMT side I traded up the LN to the BLNR to the BLRO. I also traded-up the TT Bluesy to a 116619. I gotta admit, I do sometimes miss the Bluesy Dial. You won’t have that problem.

It really depends how you feel about wearing an all out yellow gold watch.

FWIW I actually find monochromatic watches such as the SS Sub and full Gold Sub wear and present more subtle than the TT Bluesy Sub. Go for the full Gold, if you can swing the price tag!

Maybe not in the real world, Danny, but here we all get TRF-ed sooner or later.

photo comparison sourced from instagram

They both have the bling factor, and the gold in contrast with steel will really pop out beautifully (also true that in some light conditions will look like steel), but nothing can beat the blingy presence of a yg watch.

Both beautiful watches, YG obviously more money and an 'upgrade', so if you like it, go for it.

But the TT model that you have is such an iconic watch that even Rolex agrees with its lure!

I just love how warm the gold is on the submariner, it looks very different to the gold on DD's.

This is a great question! I was faced with the same situation and gave up by adding both to my collection. They compliment each other. I would start with your first choice.
