Rolex: what does it mean to you?

For me.. Rolex played a big role in my life, its something that put me on track in life and work; could be because it became my hobby. It limited me to a few goals in life rather than still trying to figure out what i want to buy and spend it on unnecessary purchases. So i was wondering, what made you guys get into the hobby of rolex collecting? or how did Rolex play a role in your life?

To me Rolex is just a quality watch. I pride myself on purchasing quality goods. We are bombarded with low quality crap from all over. My Rolex is just one of those things that speaks quality.

I’ve always wanted a Submariner since my late teens. Almost pulled the trigger a couple times in my twenties but couldn’t.

I bought my first Rolex right after I bought my second home. To me, Rolex symbolizes my hard work and ability to achieve my goals.

I have quite a few watches. Rolex means robust reliability, waterproof af, low maintenance, quality build. It also has a crown on it. So it must be good.
