Rolex Repair

I am brand new to this forum. I have a 15 year old Rolex. The stem fell out and the watch got waterlogged, rusted out and is dead. I almost fainted when Rolex on St. Clair gave me a quote for repair-we're talking thousands. I told them I could not afford it but they are not flexible. Now they only sell Rolex parts to a handful of dealers in Ontario. Not just anyone can purchase the parts. Does anyone know of n authorized Rolex dealer who might charge less for the labor? I have not taken it anywhere else for an estimate. Any help or suggestions would be appreciated as it has been sitting in a drawer for two years.
