Which One Is The Better Deal?
Hello all!
I have a dilemma that I would really appreciate you help me solve. I got on the good side of a Rolex seller who quoted me these prices for the following watches: - $8200 for the 116710BLNR GMT. - $6500 for the 116610LN Sub. (Both new -2016- with tags and stickers) In terms of pricing, which one is he giving me a better deal on (factoring in the current retail prices, preowned prices, and the "Rolex's hold their value" aspect)? |

The better value is subjective in which you prefer and how long you will hold the watch. I would pick-up the sub as I prefer the style and the glidelock bracelet. I would also save $1700 for my next purchase. At the prices listed I don't think you will get hurt on a sale or flip with either.

After doing a quick search on WatchRecon for both models it seems the 116610LN being offered to you has the bigger discount. I don't think you could go wrong with either one at those prices so it comes down to which one you like most.

sub hands down.
just note there is no such thing as a 2016 sub. it is random serial. now if you want to know if it is 2015 or later look at the interior of the clasp where the rolex logo is displayed. if it is a smooth finish it is 2015 or later, if it is a sandblasted finish it is 2015 or earlier.

You are getting a larger discount on the sub.
What is the 'better' deal depends on what you want. Both watches are desirable and easy to flip. |

What's a good deal mean to you? The Sub has the bigger discount (dollar or percentage-wise) so that's the better deal, is that what you mean?
