Checked One off the Bucket List Today

I got to drive a Ferrari around Hollywood today. It was amazing! I've always wanted to drive a Lambo or Ferrari and it was everything I hoped it would be. My face still hurts from smiling so big!

nice!

remember, if it were a lambo, the hookers and blow are extra.

(a ferrari owner told me that one)

Thanks! It was a red California. There is a place in Hollywood that lets you take them out for 30 minutes for ~$110 each. They also has a convertible Lamborghini Gallardo.

How fun! Now comes the hard part, saving for one of your own.
I already told my wife that my retirement present to myself will be some sort of super car. Probably gently pre owned as I'm a bit of a cheap bastard. Of course by then, it might be a driverless tesla for everyone. ;)

Be careful! Its a slippery slope...

A couple years ago I took my wife to Vegas for her 30th bday... We did the rent an exotic deal at the speedway and both got to take a Ferrari on the track. (both our first time driving such a car)

About 2 months later I had an F430 sitting in my driveway

This:

Turned into this:

Incredible, isn't it? I'll never forget the first time I got to drive one either!

Congrats on your first supercar experience! I had my first about 6 years back, and I've had the privilege of driving quite a few more monsters since, but am still working my way towards owning one.

My ex-boss has the Ferrari California. Sat in it a few times, but never drove.

I hate the seats, when I turn to get out, the lip on the seat is very hard and hits me right in the berries.

But it is a beautiful car, and $110 for an hour is a true bargain.

@Tri-Tip, I'm surprised -- the Cali is actually quite the most "normal" car in the stable (new Cali T is more faster, but still as comfortable). I think it could be the optional seats, which may be the "problem".

Coincidentally, the first Ferrari I ever drove was also a California, and also in red!

$110 had me asking "what's the catch?" It was a no brainer!

As you can tell from the pics I am not a small man. The seats were way to formed to carry my ample body. Regardless, the slight discomfort was well worth the adrenaline rush of 0-60 in 3.5ish!

Last year, I got to test drive a 2015 California T at a Ferrari event in New Orleans. It was phenomenal!
