PG VC Overseas blue dial is strange
Was down at my local Vacheron boutique today and had the opportunity to see the new pink gold blue dial Overseas in the flesh. I was also able to compare it to the 3 hand blue dial Overseas in steel.
What really surprised me was how different the two blue dials were. The one on the new pink gold version was much brighter and more electric. This is strange, since pics on the website suggest that the dials should be identical. Even the salesman, who was seeing it for the first time, was confused by the difference. To those who have seen the new pink gold version in person, did you notice something similar? |

Did the colour combo work? Compared to steel do you like it more?

Heard this as well. Someone on instagram mentioned being disappointed with the Pink Gold 4500v blue dial.

Attached a poor picture of it, phone camera auto-adjusted the lighting. (Hope this works, first time using this forum!)
You can see that the blue on the PG version is brighter and more reflective. And it wasn't because of the angle. Was repetitively tilting the two watches with the same result. |

I think the pink gold overseas would look good with the steel version's darker blue dial. As for personal preference, I would pick the steel. Having just placed a deposit for it, I'd say I'm a bit biased though! |

Decided to pull the trigger since VC is raising prices by around 4% starting October here. Unsure if it's a global thing. |

I have the RG incoming in the next couple days, and also have the blue Steel. Will post pictures once received of a comparison, but the pics I have already seen of it look incredible

I have the black 4500v and I'm in love I'm sure you already know your going to love yours as well, it even feels great on the wrist, substantial and great proportions with its integrated case and bracelet. Here's my pic with a little extra eye candy below, why not.. Early Congrats to you! The wait will be well worth it.

Looks like the SS has the original clear multi layered lacquered dial and the RG has a sunburst one?

I posted in the other thread out here are some photos- same dial I believe. Both gorgeous! Maybe RG makes it pop more, but to me they look the same

Love both. But for some reason the Pink Gold made me like the SS Blue dial even more. May have an incoming tmrw
