Nice. The thread title may need to be updated. :)

When are you getting the other two?

I've no problem with that I could ask an Admin to update the thread's title.

But what would be the a way of saying

"Seiko Divers: Re-editions Club"

without being that nerdy...

^ no need to actually update sir. I think it’s fun as it is.

But your suggested title would cover any other reissues in the future. :)

The SLA037 is pretty amazing.
I can't justify the purchase when I have the SLA017 and having regard to the higher price of the SLA037 and it being without the stainless steel bracelet (unlike the SLA017).

However, congrats to those who get the SLA037 its pretty amazing.

I agree. Cant justify buying the 37 for me when i have the 17.

But i just ordered one for a good client. Living vicariously.

the hi-beat alone might justify it...

In terms of optics, maybe (it's to watch the seconds-hand almost "sweep" around the dial). But that's roughly a $1K luxury...

As for accuracy, I cannot say that my SLA025 provides better accuracy than my three 8L35-equipped divers. I'm not suggesting that the 8L35 is as good as the 8L55, rather that Seiko doesn't bother to adjust them as well as they do with their Grand Seikos.

My SLA017 is regulated better than my SLA037 and each gain the exact same amount respectively per day, so accuracy seems equal. Regulation can be fixed. The hi-beat is a fun movement, albeit with a premium.

Just bought an...

SLA033 today (preowned).

Should be here Thursday, can't wait. I've been admiring them since they came out and contemplated the Prospex model that came out last week but they sold out.

I guess this was meant to be that I ended up spending more than twice the price for the SLA, lol.

I'll be back with pics when it arrives.

I have the good fortune to become the owner of an SLA033 today

Very happy with this baby

I'll come back with more photos, but for now it's difficult to remove it from my wrist
