Well there are all kinds of people paying double what a watch is worth at gray market and auctions, guess this person figured they would try. I mean let’s face it the finishing of GS if people are really being honest with themselves is far above Rolex and likely on the AP/PP level only it costs far less.

Funny you say that as yesterday I was looking at the prices at some sold pieces for the Phillips Geneva auction and noticed about 90% of the watches being sold, ones that you can buy on Chrono24 or eBay etc we’re selling for 10-30% more for no apparent reason
