Zeitwerk: White or Pink Gold?

Hello all,

I am in the process of ordering a Zeitwerk. In doing so, this remarkable timepiece will complete my ALS "Holy Trinity" joining a Grande Lange 1 (Pink Gold, Dial Argenté) and a Datograph Up/Down (Pink Gold, Black Dial) - see pictures.

First, I chose the Zeitwerk White Gold (140.029) as it seems to me THE Zeitwerk, and also because I don't have any WG piece in my collection. But damn! The more I look at the Pink Gold (140-032), the more I feel its beauty and elegance.

So white or pink? What do you think?

Cheers to all!

I like the Zeitwerk in white gold better and you already have three pink gold models so it would add some diversity. That written, because you are looking for a trinity of Langes, perhaps you want to go for the pink gold model so that there is some consistency of metals with your Lange collection.

The Zeitwerk can be incredibly casual if white gold. I wear mine with black jeans and a hoodie 90% of the time.

Another vote for the white gold if it was me, but I think it is more a question of your personal style / what fits you.

It also looks great in rose gold and since you seem to be a regular rose gold wearer, maybe that fits better with you?

White gold gets my vote. Works really well with the German silver dial plate and movement components.

As much as i love RG, imho it looks better in 'silver-colored' metal.

There is a price increasing coming at least for NA and in Mid March. Are you able to pay the current price?

Zeitwerk 1 being discontinued. Probably to be replaced with a new version with the 72 hour power reserve. Likely to be announced at W&W in April 2021. I'm waiting until then to pull the trigger on a Zeitwerk.
