I like my watches the same way I like my cars. Shiny and new.
I'm not into that vintage vibe. Sent from my SM-N950U1 using Tapatalk

I agree. Further if you put the new WG Pepsi up against the new SS Pepsi and the new Tudor Pepsi and consider price I expect the results would be quite shocking.

Pepsi GMT 2018 or Pepsi GMT 1965?
That’s not the best example of the original gmt. That pic is ugly.

The new one, no question. I want to wear my watch freely without compromise. I like vintage but that is too vintage. That's collector in a case vintage.

‘18. Something to think about is servicing. Does Rolex still service a ‘65? How much longer will they?

I’d also take the new one. Easy decision if/when you can get your hands on one.

I mentioned the one in the photo as I was in Fellows auction house today and spotted it in the recent catalogue...
https://www.fellows.co.uk/2139-lot-3...t_detail&year= Sold for £12,374 (including buyer's premium) or around US $16,500. |

I have been looking for a 1675 for a while, so if I could find a nice one I would definitely go for the vintage version. That being said, I am due to purchase the new Pepsi in a few months... So let's put it that way. Buy the 1675 now as prices will keep increasing and the new Pepsi when you can get it from an AD.

I'm not sure there's a single think I like about the new GMT. I'd pretty much pick any 5-digit or older GMT over it. If I had to get a new GMT, I'd get the LN, I guess.

It's only the jubilee which makes the new one remotely attractive. I dislike the large font, the bezel colours, the £1,000 cost of bezel replacement when it chips/cracks, the non-interchangeability of the insert. But... folks like fighting to be the first in town to have something rare, whatever it is. |

If the new Pepsi was next to a prime example 1675, I’d go vintage. All personal preference of course.

While not a fan of the Jubilee, vintage prevails. Always.
