best Lange 1 combination?

Hi everyone

I am going to buy a Lange 1, but it is hard to decide whether I should buy the white gold+black dial or rose gold+white/silver dial. Also, I think Lange 1 is better than the Grand Lange 1 as it is smaller.

Can I have some advice?

Thank you so much.

Given the choice between the options you presented, I would choose the 38.5mm Lange 1 in rose gold.

FYI, I went with the classic 38.5mm Lange 1 in yellow gold with a champagne dial, reference 191.021.

White gold always! Much more flexible.

Not helpful, but I would decide between classic yellow gold and platinum black dial (the Darth).

That's a tough one - I usually go towards the white metals as I find them more understated and versatile. The Rose Lange though is pretty spectacular. Have you seen and tried both on in person? I also prefer the 38.5 mm over the larger Grand Lange.

I went Platinum/ Silver dial Lange 1. Given your choice I’d go white gold.

No wrong choice. The L1 family is beautiful.

I’d look at the L1 MP, either the Platinum with rhodie dial or the WG with black dial. The MP adds some romance to the watch that I think is very special.

RG Lange 1 Moonphase (the day night indicator is unique). If you want your Lange 1 more classic, that is fine...but if more everyday use, Moonphase is the way to go (I have RG 192.032). PM me for pics if you want.

The Moonphase turned out to be better than I had hoped. Love it.
