Dashcam Recommendations?

Hey all. Anyone have a dash cam they recommend? Looking to see if which the community prefers, and what features they like about it. Having a camera cover as many angle as possible would be great (to include the read of the vehicle)

Check out blackboxmycar for reviews. Personally I’m a big fan of the Viofo line as it’s discreet, performs well, and awesome bang for buck. A129 Pro will be in 4K.

I have a Blackvue 650s. Purchased a couple years ago when it was the top model. 2 channel, front and rear. Have the adapter that has constant power from the ODBII port. Runs 24 hours, kicks on with motion sensors. Backs up to the cloud with paid subscription, or go free and add a micro SD card for record/download.

Still works a couple years later.

I use to see a lot of recommendations for Blackvue on the Tesla forums. Seems to be a solid brand. The car uses is cameras as a dashcam now, so not as great a need.

Yep, when I was researching back then alot of Tesla owners/reviews on youtube...just chalked it up to tech and features with a tech crowd.

I have a Viofo A129 in my DD and my fun car. It's never given me any issues and it has handled environmental extremes really well. Quality is great for making out license plates and what not in both day and night. A few friends have various Blackvue models and they like them a lot.
