BLRO Spotted

My company had a couple of financial analysts available to us today to go over any questions regarding our 401k plan. One of the individuals was wearing a BLRO, 1st time I had ever seen one in person. I had to tell him nice watch. It was pretty and I can see why the mass appeal.

Also human psychology on scarcity, seeing one finally puts in my head the want. Alas, just getting back in the job market the last thing I need is another shiny fancy bauble.

But to those of ya who already got, congrats and rock it well

Congrats for returning to the land of the employed. It's a nice feeling, isn't it?

The last time I complimented a stranger on his Rolex, I got a strange look and I felt like I had embarrassed him. He was in sales, and of course, there are all kinds of negative connotations with that.

Thank you mjb, surprisingly my first reaction when I received the offer was relief as opposed to happiness or excitement. Mainly due to Covid I lost my previous job back in May 2020.

I was actually wearing my polar 216570 which he said caught his eye as well, but he didn’t want to say anything until I noted his.

Maybe a sign of the times but I was wondering the story of how he came into his, not so much if he had to pay to play but again the story since they’re non-existent if expecting to see in an AD showcase.

It's great. You should get one once you settle in. Congrats on the job
