Dan Henry 1964

I cannot recommend this watch enough
Feels and looks vintage with modern reliability.
I'm just now discovering they seem to have took inspiration from the 62 omega seamaster

It is meca Quartz, I believe. Halfway there. They look nice, who owns one? How do they compare to Hamilton, Tissot, Oris?

I have a couple. Still going strong after a couple of years. Excellent build quality overall, and Dan Henry himself is a renowned collector and knows his vintage designs better than most.

Thanks so much old beast ..
You made me look into it and now I love it
It's right up there to me with Hamilton and tag heuer
The build is solid and the movement is half mechanical like.
And feels very solid.

I have one arriving next week. I chose the silver bicompax/no date (I like that I don't have to look at a ticking seconds). Excited for it to get here!

Dan Henry watches are awesome. I've been looking at that PVD one that looks like the Porsche Design. Everyone on Instagram seems to love them!

I want to like it - heck it's using the iconic design of the Omega Seamaster chronograph which I had back a number of years ago - the issue I have and I guess is a recurring theme in today's society is lack of originality... I'd rather a watch that stands on it's own design.

Think about all the reemergence of TV series from back in the 80s and 90s coming back on -- movies getting redone etc.

For the same price I'd opt for a Brew watch.

Look at the Dan Henry 1968 Dragster Chrono, either black or white dial. That's an original-looking design.

I have a Dan Henry 1962 panda that’s a fun watch for knocking around in the summer when I know that battle scars on my more precious watches are a certainty. I’ve actually gotten compliments on it because it’s got a great summer vibe.

I have one. Great beater. Can't recommend enough. It reminds me of a 6238.
