Moving to the Land of Swimming Pools and Movie Stars...

As most of you know the Mrs and I have been evicted from Wine Country due to lack of consumption, so we are headed back to LA. Actually to Thousand Oaks, better know by the cool people as T.O. (Sorry Toronto).

So word got out in LA that we were in the process of packing our massive art collection and mid priced watches, (mid prices in WIS land) and we started to get help showing up at odd hours.

Last night it was Brad Pitt, who said he was thoroughly bored because the movie business is shut down and wanted something to do. But unfortunately through a miscommunication the Mrs also invited Angelina, so right away things got a teensy bit testy. Thankfully Angelina showed up with a couple of dozen of her adopted children, so we had a lot of help packing things up.

Things were going along swimmingly until for some reason around 10 o'clock, Jennifer Aniston arrived hammering on the door with a couple of bottles of wine and a boy toy. Needless to say, all hell broke loose. One great big cat fight.

When the smoke had cleared, there were broken boxes and packing tape strewn everywhere. Two of the kids were taped together and we had to spend half an hour trying to free them. So much bubble wrap was destroyed that one of the neighbors heard the bubble wrap popping and called the cops thinking that a gang war had broken out or perhaps MR and Mrs Smith Part Two was being filmed without a permit.

Well it all quieted down finally around midnight, autographs were signed, the cops left, our "guests" piled into their respective limos and me and the Mrs got back to work.

Things can really get ugly around the beautiful people.

Thanks everyone....... I think.

Due to the fires, landslides, rain, overpopulation, traffic and crime we decided to move to a trailer park, so if we have to evacuate we'll just hook up and leave.

I've heard Randy Quaid lives next door, so we're gonna be livin' the dream.

I didn't realize we were moving until I came home one day and saw the moving van. My wife just said, oh I thought I told you.

Hmmmmm.

Shouldn't have to tell you this, but the first rule of having Brad, Angelina, and Jennifer over is ~ You do not talk about having Brad, Angelina, and Jennifer over.

Hard to see you lasting there.

They all posted it to social media. The cat was out of the bag.

I just tried to beat TMZ to the punch to get out the truth so I wouldn't be blamed for causing poor Jennifer any more pain. It's been 15 years and it's still raw.

Seriously, hasn't Jennifer been through enough????

I'm kind of looking forward to being next door to Randy Quaid. At least there will be some sort of stability and sanity. From looking at google earth, it looks like our porches nearly touch, although his is covered with car parts. So I guess we're both car guys. I love cars and he used to live in his.

So that’s where the screenplay for Once Upon a Time in Hollywood came from.

My condolences. Thousand Oaks is nice though. Well a good 2 mile radius of it anyway.

Sorry I didn't make the shindig. Tiger said he was on his way to pick me up and never showed.

You can never truly escape la la land.

It becomes a part of you.

I got there in 1985 and left in 1991.

Whatever decade you live there the natives tell you, well it kinda sucks now but you should have seen it (10 years earlier) ... man it was great then.

I agree, it was great for me while it lasted, 1976 - 1984. I still have family and friends there.

Welcome to So Cal, I'm not far from you. T.O. is a cool area. Check out Tarantula Brewing (T.O. Blvd. just east of Moorpark Road), LOTS of eye candy in the summer!

If you get a hankering for some wine, they do have Silver Oak.

Thanks. Just moved in yesterday into the trailer park. I have a lot of boxes.

I found a lot of celebrities live in Thousand Oaks but it's my understanding they live in double wides and mine is just a single. I'm not far from Moorpark Road and Gelsons. And Ace Hardware. (hardware is my life.)

I live in a gated community and it's reminiscent of my time in prison except the guard is friendlier and the dogs are smaller.

Back to unpacking boxes. They killed a lot of trees for this packaging. I haven't found the Mrs yet, but there are a lot of boxes to go so perhaps by the weekend.
