Mocktail March

So I posted not too long ago about Dry January.

Tell you folks what...I loved it. Truly, enjoyed the process. I also felt as though I looked better (might have been in my head) and I definitely felt physically better.

While February was all sort of fun, it is time for Mocktail March.

And who knows, maybe that will lead into Abstaining April. Just in time for me to squeeze into a bikini.

I am having fun with this, and on my own path. I know there were a few Debbie downers on my Dry January post. Feel free to pee in my Cheerios again if you want.

I am going to make a movement out of this. I have the wife making me a meme and everything. You heard it here first folks. Stay tuned.

Good for you! Sounds like a bit of a revolution/revelation you've had. Even if all of the benefits were only "in your head" isn't that what's most important!!!

I’ll be joining you buddy.

Will be pairing it with intermittent fasting as well so I can lose this weird skin matching belt I don’t remember purchasing

Good on ya', Seth for making your own path. I'm a firm believer in doing what we each feel is best. No need need to protect those Cheerios from my splatter.

And the benefits wouldn’t have been in your head.

I've cut back big lately, I don't think going to zero is in the cards since the Mrs and I enjoy wine with dinner, but will definitely cut out the weeknights.

Joining on this as well..didn't know about Mocktail March but definitely here for it!

I stopped drinking alcohol around August when I had a kidney stone and I have been enjoying the lost weight, better sleep, and feeling generally more healthy.
I did half half of a small glass of Dom back in November, other than that nothing at all.

I've turned it into a bit of a game, why break the streak? I think if I did I would just be disappointed and that's been a great motivator.

Yeah, I quit late January in prep for mild surgery (general anesthesia). Haven't had anything. Feel great, don't see any reason to rush back to it.

It's kind of a game for me, too. How long can I go?

I don't usually have alcoholic drinks anyway. My most common thing is to drink Fresca or coffee!!!

Have as much fun as you want.

My favorite drink when I end up at bars is a coke with a Maraschino cherry and a bit of the juice poured in, or a Shirley temple. Not really mocktails but poured in a tall glass over ice with a stirrer straw, I look the part lol
