Beverly Hills Montblanc is thumbs up!
Drop by their store to get my Bordeaux fix! ( cracked and has a chip right under where the clip rest )! Not only that they fix it right there while I wait( they replaced the whole barrel ) but they polished my other mb's as well for free while I sip on the coffee they serve me and browse around! They gave me a couple of polishing cloths as well! All for 70 bucks!

That's great service.
Here the MB shop sends all pens away, never gives away anything, and you can't even buy a MB cloth and if you want a coffee then go down the road and pay $3.50

That's wonderful to hear :-) I've shopped at the Houston location and all I got was a small bottle of water. Sounds like I should be shopping at the Beverly Hills location instead! Glad to hear you had a wonderful time.

I think the difference is that some boutiques are actually run by MB while others are run by distributors in the country. Different priorities IMHO, including exchange rate hedging.

Yes, and these sales people are all geared up with montblanc products! MB belts, watches , pens and pouches, folder bags...etc!

I do enjoy shopping and browsing at the nearest MB store and am given good service. But they are tight with there ink and polishing cloths. You would think after spending over $2000.00 dollars they would give you a bottle of ink free but they don't. They say corporate will not let them!!!

I agree! But the way they scope at my sea dweller just makes me wonder what goes on in their heads!

hmmm! that's totally outrageusly high! what kind of mb are you referring to? as far as my knowledge goes, they have a flat rate of 70.00 usd to fix/replace a barrel!
