1982 Tudor Submariner 94110 Snowflake
I wanted to share what I consider my first keeper vintage Rolex/Tudor. I have slowly traded up to something I love. I know the hands are rough but I liked the way this watch looked. The photos dont do the patina justice. The hands match the lume plots under UV light.
Sorry for all the photos, Im excited. IMG] |

And yes, with a 971K serial, the "S" drive is the factory original. Damn sweet piece there ~

I wonder if that watch was ever worn, no endlinks' marks?

It has endlink marks, they are hitting high and rubbing on the top outer edges if that makes sense.

That looks super. Well played, and congratulations.
The thumbs-up from Linesiders trumps any other opinions for me. |

Ohh it's absolutely fine. I'm looking for a little more reverse chamfer on the back (which could simply be lighting) but other than that, chef's kiss. What a lot of people do not realize is there are not big top chamfers on the lugs like early 70s and earlier, his actually looks pretty correct, the sides are flat, the lugholes not dished, overall that's a pretty tight case.

I ordered a 93150 w/580 endlinks @ my local Rolex dealer so I dont ruin this 9315.
I hope they have them in stock vs order from HQ $1250.00 + tax I walked out of there with a huge smile on my face. Im thinking of ordering some more spare parts just in case. I am in love |

While many collectors chase and hunt the blue Tudor snowflake. Actually I notice that for 94110 snowflake date (based on my experience), the black dial snowflake date 94110 is harder to find. Try it and you will know what I mean :)

Guru has spoken :) so true my friend. The black 7016 is rare for sure. I come across blue snowflake date 94110 more often than the black dial. Not easy to find the correct black SF date. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Just gorgeous. I've been pining for a blue but this clean black is making me rethink!

Blue has the premium as the blue is more iconic, so the blue attracts more people collecting from other brands. More people with a black Rolex Sub that want something different are going to go for the iconic Blue Snowflake than another black sub. So while there is a greater supply of blue, there is also greater demand.
