Looking for RO and Daytona side by side
I keep reading up on the sizing and haven't been able to try a 202 or 450 on yet.
I have a 6.5" flat wrist and the Daytona is at my limit of size for comfort. Does anyone have the same wrist size and style so I can gauge the fit? i realize there are several threads on this but I haven't seen the side by side as some say the 450 wears like a Daytona and some disagree. Picture posted for reference of fit. |

I can tell from this photo the 450 would fit you like a glove. Unfortunately I don’t have said picture. There have been a few posted on here before though so sit tight.
Edit: here’s a good thread https://www.rolexforums.com/showthread.php?t=585678

I did indeed. It has much stronger wrist presence but it looked oversized on me and whilst it is a sports watch, so oversized can work, it’s quite a shiny one and it was all a bit much for me. I also prefer the case-to-dial ratio but I’m in a massive minority there. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

So here are a few pics showing the relative sizes. Given the tendency for photos to skew whichever item is closer, I've switched their positions. Not sure of the lug to lug details, but note in the side photo how the cases are nearly identical in lug to lug. Despite that, the rolex bracelet folds 90 degrees which hugs a smaller wrist while the AP's integrated bracelet is forced to flare out several mm further. Moreover, Rolex cases are typically rounded beautifully and taper. No so RO, whose industrial shapes and sharp edges seem way larger.
Does the Rolex wear small or does the 15450, like other ROs wear large? That's all relative but here you have a 37mm up against a 40mm. Not much difference as far as I can see. My 38mm ROC feels like it has more wrist presence than the 37 RO, largely because of its subdials. I'm sure the Daytona has the same effect.
