1968 DateJust, with a little history

This watch has been shown here before.

MCK22 posted this here a while back.

http://www.rolexforums.com/showthread.php?t=79301

Then he sold it.

http://www.rolexforums.com/showthread.php?t=80131

Where I bought it. Off it went to Dalton.

The bracelet was stretched beyond repair so I have it on a strap.

Looking Goood. Nice to see it brought back to pristine condition. Love those pie-pan dials.

Hats off Brian! I'm glad you opted to leave the case as is. The new crystal and rugged case is great combo. The strap looks good too.

It looks absolutely great.

Am I right to think this bezel is a less common than the 'usual' smooth fluted bezel?

While its a shame the bracelet could not be saved, the DJs do look very classy on a strap.

I don't know. Never looked.

When a 6 or a 9 come around, I'll look.
