I just came home with the 2500 42mm PO and love it! I have a smaller 6 3/4" wrist and this fits just right! The height is great, much less than my 16.5mm tall Seamaster Chrono.

Rashid. Everything I have seen has the 42 mm 8500 listed at 15.7 mm. Whatever it is, in my book (or on my wrist) it is not too thick. To each his own. Back in the day many people felt the Sub was too thick, now it seems on the thin side.

I've seen the 42mm it listed at 16.3mm and the 45mm version at 16.9mm.

No, definitely NOT!! I own the 8500 PO and it fits quite nice! I think it's perfect.. Not as thick as the DSSD, but perfect!
