Can't open them, can't service them. They are unibody. The only thing you can do is replace the battery.

Unserviceable, disposable Speedmaster. Well, guess I found one thing I don't like about them now.

Why exactly would it need service? I thought most quartz movements were generally good for 20-30 years and then replaced. I guess the difference here is you can't replace the movement?

Like the classic black Speedmaster version (Moon) but I think the bigger hits will be the unusual colourways. A fun low cost fashion watch without the pedigree.

That’s a bummer. I was hoping the bezels/ inserts could be swapped. Would love to put a black bezel on the Neptune.

This Marathon caught me off guard by having fixed bars instead of spring bars. I am not a fan of NATOs or the straps on the MoonSwatches....does their design accomodate strap changes?

I lined up outside Swatch store this morning two hours before they opened. There must have been 300 people ahead of me and after reading a bunch of comments from other people who waited in line all over the world most stores were pretty much sold out after taking in the first 100 people so I decided to leave. Disappointing but it just isn’t worth the wait.

Oh man, I'm sorry to hear that. A lot will seemingly be left disappointed or upset over this. I can imagine a poor experience for some has the potential to put them off or send them elsewhere. I feel for those who actually wanted a watch to enjoy, went to line up, only to be left empty handed. I figured as much though when this was announced.

This YouTuber went to the same location at midnight and there was a sign saying that only the first 35-50 people will get a watch. He was already around 80th in line and decided to leave. Wish I had known this before waking up at 5am to line up. Anyways, it is what it is.

Someone deserves a promotion at Swatch/Omega for thinking of this. It may ultimately boost Speedmaster sales thru increased awareness.

Really digging Pluto for some reason. I like the panda dials and the colors work well with the dark grey strap. Kind of liking Earth too. Same deal, I like the panda look and the green case is sharp.

I got Mars. FYI the store in Miami sold out of Saturn first followed by Neptune and Mercury. I was shocked by the amount of people in line who wanted Saturn. To me that was the least desirable.

I asked my retired parents what color they want, they choose red and pink. I was so surprised. I thought for sure black and grey.

There's an easy way to find which color is most popular. On Swatch Instagram account they post every single color and you can see which has more likes.

Favourite Moon-swatch colour

Mine was Trip to Mars - because of the Alaska project as it’s one of my faves….

I swapped the strap though. Not a fan of the bulk of the original straps.

The original:

The new strap….

I called a store local to me, they mentioned they received their second shipment and it was something like 175 watches. Sounds like they are starting to flow in. The ebay prices are dropping like rocks, I am seeing them for $600. Few more week/months and if you want one, it shouldn't be too hard to get. I am going to try to snag an earth or a moon next week.

I was in the Edinburgh store last week and they let slip they were due a delivery today.

Sadly I had to travel home before so will have missed out.

All indications are they will be available online to the masses shortly.

I like the Pluto and Earth versions. I really like those color combinations.

To the guy who thinks this is somehow cheapening Omega: on the contrary, this has been a smashing success in every way. It's just meant to be fun. Interest in the real Speedy is through the roof, with myself included in the stats. The Speedmaster was never on my radar before and now I would love a Tokyo Panda someday after I complete my Rolex collection and I move onto other watches.

As one of the masses I surely hope so!
Torn between pluto and the sun. With 3 Rolex, including a lovely OP41 Coral summer watch and a YG Day-Date (supposedly) on order I need this like a hole in the head. But it is pretty and pathetically cheap so I will get one even if it only gets worn a couple of times!
