I’m moving away from the idea of a Rolex-heavy collection. I would also say a collection of three is ideal for me.

I'll play!

Assuming we're talking 'at market price' and US funds.

Czapek Drake S (salmon dial) - $23000
Tudor BB54 - $4000
Rolex 1675 Pepsi - $20000
AP 14700 (white dial) - $40000
Movado M95 - $10000

I'd spend the left-over on some really nice straps and a watch box.

I like how this collection is not dominated by modern Rolex.

At todays prices, if I could do it all over again, probably a stainless Aquanaut 5164a and a white Daytona 116520 and if I had money left over an explorer Mark 2 214270

I personally wouldn’t have a platona as a 1 and done watch. No date and actually prefer the SS looks.

I would say a DaytonaC white dial and Royal Oak 37mm would be my first two picks. And I would finish with a dress/complication watch. Maybe a Patek 3940.

With the current state of my collection, a 100K would prob only yield me 1 watch

Lange Datograph, a 1680 Sub and a G shock.

All I'd ever need.
