RSC declined to service? Surprised.
Hi,
I have a 36mm datejust that I bought new in March 2017. I called the RSC/dealer where I bought the watch to get it serviced and they asked me if was still keeping good time. After I said "yes," they said not to get it serviced now. I know the Rolex site now mentions approximately 10 year service, but I surprised that the RSC actually said not to do it. I figured they would still take it in for a service at close to 6 years. The watch is used very gently in a rotation. It gets worn maybe one week per month. Am OK waiting longer? The watch is still keeping great time. It was my 50th birthday present, so I would like to keep it forever. Thanks, Rick |

With everything that's been going on with Rolex movements over the last few years, I'm not surprised they don't want to see it as it's currently running well.
They won't necessarily want their w/shops backing up any more than necessary with the warranty work they're already doing. Simply enjoy it just as you are and send it in if something seems off with it |
