I came into this thread getting ready to hate this...

After some of these pics...I don't hate it. I wouldn't do it, but I don't hate it.

Most of these look to be older jubilees or the 63600/63200 super jubilees - has anyone put a 69200 GMT jubilee on a Sub that we know of? Would love to see that.

No, not "maybe"...it most definitely is, imo! I just don´t like Subs (I own one) on anything but the original Rolex oyster bracelet. No NATOs, rubber straps, canvas straps etc.! As AJMarcus posted above, it makes a Sub look like a Seiko! Having said that, you must do what you like, and not bother with what others say! It´s you wearing the watch. But I do think the Jubilee looks fantastic on other Rolexes...just not, please, on a Sub!

No, no, no…just wrong

Far too dressy for a watch that’s meant to be a working watch

Number3, I have done it just this past week. I acquired a 69200 from KrazyKorean(here on the site) and put it on a 1999 ExplorerII WITH holes. It fit fine on that with these springbars.

Since the lugs/holes/cases are the same, it'll work on a similar era Submariner. I have a 1999 16610 as well, but haven't tried it yet because my sister has my sub. But it'll fit. It DIDN'T fit my 2004 no-holes GMT because the ends of the spring bars are too thick. There are plenty of bars that'll work, I just don't have any. And I've already put 97200 on that anyway.

Anyway, the fit is perfect. Endlinks are tight in, and don't look daffy under the bezel.

And just a reminder: If you do this 69200, you MUST have a case that has cuts for SEL's for it to work. It won't work with older cases that don't have it.

Not a Jub fan, but if it had to be it would look alright on a 5 digit.

It’s your watch so wear it how you like. It definitely will not look like others out there.

While I definitely prefer the Jubilee on a GMT, which is a very similar looking watch to the general public, having the more dressy bracelet seems to fit the GMT’s functionality and purpose better. To me, anyway.

Also, I just cannot be torn away from the brushed Oyster on my Sub. I love that fully brushed look.

Hello. I know dealers could do whatever they wanted once a watch was received from Rolex, but I've never seen anything that would indicate the Jubilee was an option from the Rolex factory, or more simply put, that it could have come as original equipment on Submariners.

Don't get me wrong, I enjoy wearing my Subs on Jubilees like many others here on the forum do, but I have never seen any documentation whether it be on warranty papers,r Rolex catalogs or dealer order booklets where you could order the Jubilee on Submariners.

Please, if you have some documentation or know where I could research this further, I would appreciate it. Until then, for me, the Jubilees will remain a dealer or owner installed bracelet.

Thanks in advance.
