How does the 7 day indicator transition from 1 day to another?
For example say Tuesday to Wednesday? I assume it starts at midnight and “finishes” by 1 or 2 am? But snaps to the middle of the day? Similar question to the actual date… from the 24th to the 25th (or any other date change). Lastly… for the actual work week indicator … I believe there are no transitions but an indicator that does 1 revolution a year Thanks in advance! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

On mine I’ve observed that the day indicator isn’t “connected” to the date in that when I set the date it has no impact on the days. When you adjust the time and cross midnight it does exactly what you described with it hitting the middle of the day at around 2am.

Conant - yes, I ordered the deployment-specific strap and buckle from an AD and it took about 4 months. If you're having a problem contact Tracy the watch strap manager at Henri Stern in NYC and ask if she can get you this combination.

Not a single person at the local AD made a request for this when it was released. Their eagerness to sell me one when I discussed it about three weeks after launch was evident. Don't regret not buying but still like it for its whimsical nature.

Been trying to get one for 18 months. Spoke to another AD who lectured me about the demand and that I can’t have anything new or steel. Such a turn off.

There is now a SS Deployant available for it to order if you are looking for it.

Have you guys got a special version of C24, I can see 65 advertised and the cheapest (private sale) is +£2k over list with the rest £4-£8k over list. Perhaps US list is cheaper? UK is exactly £30k.

I bought this when it was announced. Reasoning is simple, a brand new complication and in steel means as soon as it is discontinued the value will just go up and up. I wore it once in the store when I picked it up and then it went right into the bank safe.
I do like it, but not enough to add it to the rotation. |

This is slightly over MSRP private seller in the UK, with new price increase Feb 1st should be pretty much there. I’m sure you can knock off 1-2k Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Yes indeed, thanks for confirming US price isn’t cheaper, as I said not a single piece on c24 advertised at list or below, contrary to what was stated in the posts above. It will be interesting to see where the MSRP goes, 3 years ago it was £25k.

In the long run, it's a reasonable guess that there will be greater appreciation of the 5212 after it's discontinued, given its unusual dial and given it is a stainless steel watch. That might be 10 years after it's no longer in production. I also think that on TRF there's been a shift of the threads away from prizing gran complications to prizing Nautilus quantity. So you're more likely to get comments that reflect that shift. |

Yeah indeed I’m going back and forth on the 5212, 5226 or 5524 - honestly none these really convince me in the flesh at least it did not move me that much that’s why I have not pulled the trigger yet but I do like them and I guess if the price is right I’ll pick one up eventually Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

I ordered a 5960/1A when it was announced and the buyer was still at Basel. It dropped what maybe 15-20k and then after being discontinued and during the run up made it back over MSRP. Short production, steel, sporty look = long term winner. |

The used watch site I follow has two at 42K. They have seen a lot of these lately. It is a busy dial which may be the reason some people trade out of them.

Patek ADs, Service centers etc. My friend was able to get an SS Deployant, however he had to bring in his 5212A.

I think it depends on the country. I learn that the Patek distributor in SEA only allows me to buy the Patek strap/deployant/buckle if I have this model bought directly from one of its retailers. for example if I have 5212a, I cannot buy the 6007a strap or SS deployant.
