I would go with the one on the right. Looks better on your wrist and I do like it better.

I love both, but, for me, the green bezel and dial and contrasting yellow hands are my choice...although I would personally get it in blue!

Man, what a hard choice! It all depends on how you'll be using it. Both are extremely versatile, but the one on the right is even more of a dress watch. However, the one on the left can fit into any setting and gets my vote. Worst case scenario, flip a coin.

The SBGE257 is definitely a sportier watch. For me, this is where I would go for me because this model would be different than the watches I have today. And it looks really really cool to me. The SD is the icing on the cake as I don't have a SD right now.

The SBGJ251 is dressier and a style of watch that I already have, so it doesn't interest me as much.

BUT, the 251 is a much more versatile watch...can be dressy and sporty as needed. As a one watch collection, the 251 is the better pick.

I'm closer to the one on the left but don't like the date position, so I'll say neither. I'd look at some of the 9F models.

Speaking of green GMT GS, this third one will be my choice. Of ones you proposed the left one...

Not a huge fan but I’d go right as it suits you better. But the one Edo posted is stellar.

I’d change to this too

Left is too thick and why isn’t the date window framed/finished

The one on the left looks cheap.

LEFT

I have the same watch in black and it's terrific. Just the right combo of dress and sport. And yes definitely go with spring drive. I think you may get bored with the one on the right.

I was looking at these GMTs the other day, thought the 251 on the right is only 30M? For a one watch collection may be an issue. But as part of a larger collection I’d prefer that one.

Have you looked at the Christopher Ward Sealander GMT in green? It’s my next green watch.

Left one.

The SBGE253 black dial variant of it will be my next GS. Rugged yet sharp looking.

Heard lots of complaints from watch enthusiasts about the fixed bezel and case thickness on the SBGE series.

Those are non-issues for me.

Tracking 2 time zones is more than enough for me.

The specified case thickness on GS is deceptive and may seem off putting. But they always wear smaller than the dimensions suggest because of the curved lug design and to allow the polished surfaces to reflect more light.

I’d go left but I’m biased as that’s the one I have. Love the versatility and the date window place window doesn’t bother me at all.

Either way both great options

I have handled this model several times and find it much brighter in person. I’m not thinking it will age well because of that.
