I guess watches are an investment now....Incoming

Don't usually post new acquisitions but here is a quick shot of the latest to come in and a few of his buddies. I am a nobody, but AP NYC has treated me very well since I got a new SA in 2020. Since then I have been allocated a 15407st, 26574ti, 15510 (blue) and now the 15416. Always wanted something on a ceramic bracelet and now that I have checked that box not sure what is next.

Given the allocations and collection, I disagree with the red text in that quote

Good grief, that’s not a collection, that’s a respectable museum exhibit. Nicely done!

Thanks all. My point about being a nobody is that I am not a VIP, not a celebrity or anything like that. It has been a slow and steady process with AP since 2013, and ramping up in the last couple years. What made the difference for me was a new SA and a new manager at the NYC boutique. “Susan” and I did not click. My current SA is all business - I do not stop in just to chat, and he does not reach out unless he has something for me. I don’t chase him or socialize or buy him presents. Key thing is I don’t really sell. So they know if I am allocated a piece they will not see it for sale soon after and put them in a tight spot.

As for the collection, I wish I could say that was it. I have a bit of a problem.

That doesn't look like a collection for a nobody. lol. Big congrats! That is my grail piece. I'm being told that it will happen in 2023, so fingers crossed. Please share how it wears.

Had a 26331 blue dial but ended up selling as I was not wearing it. Used the proceeds to help assuage my guilt on the QP purchase. It’s weird - not a money thing just pure guilt.

Congrats! Weren't there some claims of "one openworked max per customer" - just goes to show that there are no hard-and-fast rules in this business.

I always thought of myself as a nobody, now I realize I'm even less than that. What's below a nobody? Anyone?
