I got super lucky as well, more so my wife did. Wife Asked for the BLRO in August of 2019 for my 40th Bday and got it 5 months later in January. This was with no purchase history from a Rolex only Store.

So many factors come into wait times, its all about YMMV. Depends who your talking to at the AD, timing and luck to be totally honest. It also has to with the way you go about asking for a piece, going in to a AD and asking for a piece straight out doesn't help. Best first let them know that your a true enthusiast and not a flipper. SAs always have their guards up because they simply don't know who they can trust. Some SAs will only sell to friends and family no matter who you are, so sometimes you just have no chance.

7 months back in 2018, I think my SA told me it was the 12th one they had delivered.

Hopefully soon, you have a good diverse purchase history. What Daytona model did you get? With Pepsi in 2021, I was picking up a pair of Datejust I ordered for me and my wife and was talking to sales manager I want Pepsi next. 2 weeks later I had Pepsi.

My purchase history includes a good amount of jewelry and many watches other than Rolex as well.

No sympathy from me. I had to pay 2x rrp for my BLRO. I'm still on the list at the local AD (maybe?) and have been since March 2018. Lucky I have not been holding my breath eh?

It was a yellow gold 116518. I love that two weeks later you had a Pepsi so nice 👌

I inquired about the BLRO in September 2019 and received it a year later almost to the day, in September 2020. From AD. No previous history, though we hit it off talking watches right away.

I have just about given up….

I bought a DJ and referred a friend who bought a Cartier for his wife from AD in the west (OC Tanner) in Utah. SA told me I am on his list for a long time, about 2 months ago when I sent him an inquiry email, he told me forget it, that “Rolex” told him he can only sell to local people and not ship. What a load of crap. But years waiting down the drain. I bought a watch and a friend bought a watch, someone please take the knife out of my back. If any of you are in Utah and pass by OC Tanner, keep on walking.

I know WOS has changed how a person gets watches and if you don’t buy jewelry or other brand stuff there is a good chance your name isn’t getting picked for SS. Big part is their compensation has changed on Rolex watches for the SA.

I picked mine up in August of 2022 after a 2.5 year wait; no purchase history with the AD....though I had purchased a SD from a sister store several years prior.

Initially, I waited 4 years for the first 2018 126710BLRO on jubilee, until the AD quit carrying Rolex (Wempe Spain).

I also registered interest with another AD in 2021 for the BLRO on oyster. Haven't heard back

I don't want it enough to pay secondary market prices.

I am the same. I would rather wait for the day if ever - feels right and not a fan over paying over retail.

Waited 1 year and switched to another model. Another shop, I've been waiting for 3 years soon. I'll go and ask them where it's at. But I must say, the watch has lost its lustre since it was released.

I'm kinda indifferent as I will eventually get it, and I just hope it's in a few years, when they update it to 136710.

I waited a month or so for the first one in 2018 on jubilee and the same for Oyster when it was released. The VTNR on jubilee took a bit longer. Thankful for a great AD owner and friend who I have been dealing with for over 20 years.

I feel the same way about the BLRO. I really started to like the VTNR.
