Spent 2 years on the waitlist for a BLRO, then the SA said you’re no hope and you should change your interest to BLNR.Spent 2 years on waitlist and the SA rang and said do you like the VTNR and I said I really do as I’m a leftie and wear my watches on the right arm. She said I should change preference to VTNR. That was 5 months ago and today she called and told me……..I’ve got good news, I finally secured you the VTNR. Picking it up next week. So I only waited 4.5 years.

Never expressed interest. Was offered but chose LV sub because I would wear it. VTNR too quirky and honestly at $22-24k I would have sold it within a year.

Walked into Rolex shop at the airport in Sydney Australia, the first day it opened and the sales gal sold it to me on the spot.
It had an exhibition only sign in front of it, but she said that "they all do" and nobody was on the list, since they had just opened the doors about 10 minutes before I got there! Took a while to complete the sale but still made my flight ! No tax, unlike the downtown shops!! A miracle indeed, and fun to purchase, more fun to wear. |
