7234 wrist shots

Let’s see them! I’m particularly curious how a 7234 would fit on a 7inch wrist.

I’ve tried on a 5224 but I feel like the lugs over hanged a bit too much for my liking.

It's more of a sports watch than a dress watch, hence the "pilot" factor, imo. if you were to get from grey market, the 7234 is quite the bargain. If you were to buy from retail, the 5524 makes a lot more sense I think.

Here's a picture of it on my 6.3in wrist. while taking a pic from a phone, the watch will look bigger, simply because it's closer to the phone. it's a better grasp of the size by looking at the watch from a mirror, a further distance, that you see how it fits.

I can’t find a picture of it, but my friend has the same size wrist as me, about 7”, and after long deliberation he went with the 7234g over the 5524. He’s very happy with the choice, and I encouraged it… I simply think it’s a more proportionally designed watch. But I guess you really just need to try them both in person to make a decision, because at that wrist size you could pull off either.

I'm 6.5" and this is my wife's 7234A. I have tried the 5524 and it is too big for my wrist.

I've been thinking about getting one of these for a while now. I like the sportier look over a lot of other PP's.

Weirdly, with my 6.5 inch wrist, the 5524g (seen below) seems okay, but the 7234g probably fits fine too.

I think it looks great on your wrist.

I have 6.6" wrist and preferred 5524 to 7234.

I’m about a ~6.7 inch wrist and love the 7234; found the 5524 looked way too big. but I also prefer smaller watches generally. some photos of 7234 below.

It’s weird from the photos that the 5524 looks well sized on the 6.5 inch wrist and the 7234 looks well sized on the 6.7 inch wrist, from both sets of photos. Not sure if it’s perspective or wrist shape, both, or something else.

Sort of just confirms photos alone won’t do it.

I noticed the same.

Thank you all for the pics. Would anyone attest that a 7234 wears like a Daytona? That’s my impression but I could be wrong.

Can’t wait to find a 7234 to try on.

It's quite odd for sure. Here's my 5524 on my 6.6in wrist. Fits great, 42mm is the biggest I can go as long as the lugs are angled a bit.

That's why I watch Tim Mosso's videos before I buy any watch. He has reviewed the 7234 in the video below and the lug-to-lug is 45.6mm. Everyone has different wrist profile, some of us have rounder wrist while some flatter, hence wrist size alone is not really useful.

I feel like they wear pretty similarly. the 7234’s longer lugs balance out the daytona feeling slightly larger on account of the bracelet. granted I own a daytona and only tried the 7234 on briefly.

here’s a couple daytona photos on my same wrist in case helpful.

I like the size of 7234r
Just needs longer strap

Takuya, one of trusted and most reputable sellers has a brand new one for a really good deal

The 7234G is not too small. Below are how it looks on my 6.75" wrist.

The problem with it, however, is the strap. The one that comes with the watch is too short for my wrist and I had to order a longer one from Patek (4 months later, I still haven't received it). Also, I find the strap a little bit too narrow and tapers too much for my liking. It measures 18mm at the lugs and 14 mm at the buckle.

I currently have a custom made leather strap on it that's goes from 18mm at the lugs to 16mm at the buckle, which is slightly wider, but I can no longer use the original Patek buckle

I wish it come with a standard 20mm -> 18mm strap.

Looks great on you but the strap clearly suggest it supposed to be a woman’s watch

I tried on the 7234R and keep thinking about it. It was stunning. Betting that will be the first PP I buy.

My only wish for this piece is that the 2 left handed pushers were smaller. If it was smaller it would be so awesome.
