Oysterflex Fit Question

How do you wear your Oysterflex in terms of fit? I currently wear my 116515LN snug and the inner flaps are leaving indentation marks on my wrist after every wear. Is this to be expected? Wanted to get some thoughts before bringing it down to get it resized via the micro adjustments.

I wear mine significantly more snug than an oyster or jubliee bracelet. My does leave the flap impressions, but it's still extremely comfortable to me.

I have the same issue with mine. If I waer mine loose it's not comfortable, it moves around too much. If I wear it snug, the wings lease marks and that does not feel comfortable.
I found myself changing the fit all the time with the easy link, but could not find the right fit. Dit not bond with the OF.

I wore mine for a couple of weeks and since then the pepsi (with oyster) is back on the wrist. After a while a don't even feel the watch on my wrist anymore, so I much more prefer the oyster bracelet than the OF.

In terms of tightness, i feel i wear my OF similar to my jubilee. but i just wonder if i am wearing mine too tight given the flap impressions left on my skin. i wish i had the tools to just resize it via the micro adjustment but find out for sure, i guess ill have to make a trip down.

Sorry to hear that. Even with the micro adjustments you couldnt find a perfect fit? i think the adjustments there is smaller than the 5mm from the easy link. Mine is currently on the middle pin, so i can still go looser.

tbf i dont feel any more uncomfortable compared to the jubilee on my pepsi. but surely the indentations would suggest it's too tight?

The flaps are designed to be in contact with your skin, its why they are there.

All that should matter is whether or not the watch is comfortable. If it is, and you are generally happy, don't stress the indentation marks.

If it feels a little on the tight side generally, then try moving the micro adjusts one notch out.

Only you can judge the comfort.

I like all of my watches on the snug side, they are all extremely comfortable and they all leave slight indentations

I thought the micro adjustment was the same as the adjustment with the easy link?

Micro are 2/3mm IIRC. Easy Link is 5mm

Just purely my opinion here. I think the OF fits/feels best when you find the balance of not having indentation marks on your wrist, yet the watch doesn't flop around on your wrist.

It's easier said than done, though. Especially on the Daytona line- which is the only OF series not NOT have the mini glide lock. (Cough, cough) Rolex: are you listening?

thanks buddy. I'll get the micro adjustment extended and hopefully, it will be perfect.

I had this exact issue with mine. Kept flipping between easy link closed (too tight) and easy link open (too loose). I ended up moving the micro adjust from the middle to the outer setting and now it's perfect with the easy link closed. Just takes some trial and error to get it right...
