Unless your insurance company stipulate that you must list itemised valuables with them, the valuables portion of the contents of a home insurance policy might cover this. Mine does up to £15K per unspecified item and £50K total coverage of valuables.

Noob question but what reference is that? I can't find any DJ with "DATEJUST" showing on the lower half of the dial.

Fingers crossed! But I’m prepared for a big repair bill if not! I’ll keep everyone posted once I hear back from service. It was shipped out yesterday. Could take up to 12 weeks 😫

I must say, it took a lot of courage to make this post! As embarrassing as it might be, sh!t happens....You're a tough kid!

It's a shame this happened, owning it for such a short time, that has to hurt....But, I'd pick on my wife forever!

Rolex will return your watch in perfect working order, with everything repaired, I think with a new (2yr) warranty. AND you'll get a nice little green watch pouch!

That is one of my most favorite dials, a wise choice!

Sit back, take a deep breath and wait for the call to come pick up the beauty.

It will all work out just fine

Thank you for your kind words! And yes, my family was taking full advantage of poking jabs at my clumsiness! Luckily my husband has amazing levity, and said “accidents happen”! I look forward to getting my watch back, and I enjoyed it for a full 4 days!

I always tell my wife to wind or putting on the watch to stand on carpet or over a counter top.

So sorry to read this. What a bummer!

FWIW, I had a warranty issue with my Daytona and they turned it around and got back to me in under two weeks. Hopefully they prioritize your watch and you get a similar result. Good luck!

Even if dials are discontinued, they will still have new in inventory to replace for situations like this. It’ll all work out.

So it’s possible there’s the same dial out there in case it needs replacement?? That’s my main concern. Bezel looks fine.
