Shoutout to Uncle Seiko
I'm not one to mod my watches. The furthest I've gone in the past is RubberB on 5 digit Bluesy and random leather straps here and there.
I have to say though, ordering the 1450 president bracelet for my Black Bay 58 has absolutely changed my love for this watch. I originally bought it on oyster but I never really vibes with the bracelet, it's not a bad bracelet but I just feel that Rolex just does it so much better. Having a collection of Rose gold Daytona on Oyster, White dial TOG on Jubilee (and Oyster), 16613 and newly acquired 124270 36mm explorer the Oyster on the BB58 just didn't do it for me. It's not just the faux rivets, it's mostly the way the bracelet has 'capped' sides. I feel like the Pelagos 39 really fixed that. Anyways, that being said. I ordered the 1450 president bracelet thinking it would get a few days use and back in the drawer, expecting to put it back on a nice suede leather. I was completely wrong. I got the version where I still use the Tudor clasp and after 1 month of wear, it's been my main driver. More so than my newer 124270 (which I love, wow the proportions are perfect!!!!!) Bracelet is comfortable, solid and matches almost 100%. TLDR: Original oyster bracelet is nice but Rolex does it better. However this dial, size and comfort of the watch itself is really something to behold. Didn't think I would love it this much. That looks great Oh my goodness, I owe you 1000 thanks for getting me back to the Uncle Seiko site. They have a half link for the Pelagos now, ordering it immediately. |

Looks great!
I went with this one as well. The original did not fit, although the half link likely would have fixed that. How easy did the end links go in for you? Mine were extremely tight on tolerance, but fit. Could probably polish them down a little. I'm not looking forward to doing another swap, getting them off will be a problem. I wish the links had screws instead of push pins. |

Looks good OP!
(IMO Tudor has no excuse - they newer models have shown they're capable of making a decent bracelet but seemingly choose not to.) |

As for the push pins vs screws I can see the argument, but it's sized so well I don't see the need to mess around with it. The Micro adjustments on the clasp are more than enough for me. |
