Lost Rolex in Las Vegas

I lost my Rolex in Las Vegas...left it in my jacket and lost the Jacket. It is a GMT Master II Jubilee band "Batman". I filed a police report with LVPD and notified the Hotel. I registered the watch with the Watch Registry. Anything else I should be doing or should do? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Let your home insurance know if it was insured. Keep and eye on pawn shops.

Thank you TNT009 unfortunately I just got it in December and my home owner insurance didn't kick in on it yet.

That's all you can do. I have to ask why you would take it off your wrist and put it in a jacket pocket.

Not sure how your home owner policy doesn't kick in. I sent a photo of the watch, receipt, and warranty card while at the AD after the CC receipt came and my insurance agent said it was added right then and there to my policy, the photos sufficed for proof from their side. Maybe different insurance. Sorry to hear that.

A watch that 10,000 people would love to own. Good luck.

Lost or stolen jacket? If lost (or left at the table etc) any chance it ended up in lost and found? Long shot, but worth checking?

Lost Rolex in Las Vegas

Go to hotel lost and found. Only chance. I've found a jacket my visiting company lost there 2x.

Literally nobody cares about a Batman in Vegas casinos though. Safest place is always on your wrist.

Definitely check lost and found at casino. Don't know if they would go this far to help you, but whoever picked it up is definitely on camera footage.

Get in touch with the casino’s security. If you have an assigned casino host, ask your host about next steps.

Not an “I told you so” in any respect, but to anyone else reading… safest two places are on your wrist or in a safe, and hotel safes don’t count.

Best thing about casinos is everything is on camera. I'd go to security to ID who picked up the jacket.

And I agree that rooms safes don't count as safes. Never use them.

You didn't invite a lady up in your room for some casual chit chat and woke up later with her and your jacket being gone right?

Sorry, I couldn't help myself. Really sucks man. Good luck and I hope you are insured.

Usually you have 30 days after purchase to get your watch covered. May be worth a phone call you your agent.

Post the Serial Numbers here and other places on the internet. Mention it was lost so if someone tries to sell it and buyers look the numbers up it might show up.

Hopefully you have the numbers and card.

Report it to rolex as lost? I highly doubt anyone find a rolex will return it. But that’s all you can do and learn from your mistake. Good luck.

They should check the camera and see who picked it up.. If someone stole a casino chip or something they would sure track them down.

Hate to see these stories.

Good Luck with recovery, there’s always hope but this is a tough lesson.
