Why not. Lets them know you are serious and that you are not going away. Also kind of holds them accountable. I know for a fact of an AD that got two SS Daytonas and sold them to friends of the owner while continuing to tell me I was first on the list.

I found out that they had those two Daytonas come in from a former employee. So don't always trust what your AD is telling you. Lists sometimes mean nothing. They can sell them to whoever they want and tell you that none have come in.

Most ADs are like car salesmen, they want to get the highest price for the watch and will not hesitate to bump you even if you're #1 on "the list"

Pretty sure they will call you if you offer more than MSRP!!

Best tactic is to keep calling an AD who has it in stock and will to sell on the spot.

I bug my AD once a week, and buy stuff occasionally. It seems to work.
