I have many Parkers, the Duofold line being my favorite.
I do own a very nice 51 with the Forest Green barrel. What a writer that pen is! No wonder it was so popular! I do have a soft spot for these and would love to get my hands on the Buckskin / Gold!

Oh yes, a Parker fan here, all vintage. The youngest is 60 years old, the Vacumatic. then there is my Duofold Jr, 1928 and last but not least my Duofold senior special, 1926.

I'll have to send some pictures as soon as possible.
MB rollerball, ballpoint, and fountain pen. Favorites are Parker 75s Sterling Silver..again, FPs, Rollerball, Ballpoint, and a matched BP and Pencil set... These were more affordable at the time than a ROLEX..!

It is also dark enough with a normal nib to be able to be used in more formal writing I think! And yes it is a moleskine though I am now using clairefontain as I find with Molskine the ink from broader nibs bleeds through a bit. My dream is that clairfontaine make a journal with the same lovely cream shaded paper that is in Molskin, that would be perfection! |
