90 Day Review 218206

Well it’s been quite a fast 90 days since acquiring my DDII. I’ve happy to say that over the past 90 days I’ve worn it a minimum of 85 days. (had a couple days with others) It’s been an absolutely phenomenal watch to wear on a daily basis. I love the fact that it can look dressy as a DD yet sporty due to its 41MM size. A perfect combo IMHO. The glacier blue dial is amazing how the grain changes with the light and goes with an almost infinite set of attire. I know platinum is considered a soft metal for watches however I’m amazed at how it does not scratch as easily as you would think. That’s not to say I haven’t gained a few (esp. on the bezel) new ones along the way but with a good cleaning them seem to almost disappear. Several people have mentioned to me that platinum will fade to a specific dull hue that only platinum can but it’s too new so I have yet to see any of those signature changes. Just wanted to let you guys know that if anyone is hesitating to pull the trigger on this fantastic piece don’t wait any longer. Once you have it you’ll forget about your collection (like I have) for the first couple of months. I hope everyone has a great week and a great Thanksgiving holiday!!!!!

A few quick pic’s for fun

Simply the BEST !!

I am a 118206 owner but I DO admire the larger off spring in this case. Just don't have the wrist size lol. I couldn't agree more about the aura surrounding platinum. In the sunlight the polished surfaces can almost be blinding. But what a way to go You take a GREAT pic as well !! . -Ron

Still have your 218206? How's it been going into the 2nd year of ownership?
