Fantasy Football— Anyone play?
Hi All. I am in my first year in a league that has been going for 10+ years. I am doing well, currently i am in 2nd place with two more weeks left in the regular season and will make the playoffs. Our playoff schedule is week 14, 15, and 16 one week per round. What strategies do I need to be looking at based on end of NFL season and teams that may be “resting starters” etc.? BTW it is safe to wear your rolex when playing Fantasy
My league is 1/2 point PPR. No legacy Last edited by 520Matt; 21 November 2018 at 01:20 PM.. Reason: Added content |

Leave it all to the fantasy gods. I’ve had some dominant teams over the years but never won with them. Had other average teams that catch fire in playoffs and won with them. Just get to playoffs and then let luck take over.

I would only worry about the possibility of players being rested in week 16, and the only teams that may be resting players then would likely be on the Chiefs, Rams, or Saints if they have their playoff position locked up. So if you have key players on those teams, just be aware when that week comes.

I’d also look at any byes that a team maybe have coming up, if any at this point. That’s a pretty big deal on rest. But to rest a highly motivated young quarterback, as an example, like the chiefs have might back fire. Of course they could play him 1/2 a game instead of riding the bench to rest. You never know it might mess his head up plus the way he’s playing I’d think about this if your coach. He doesn’t have to much experience but looks really good
As long as the offensive line does their job he or any of them should be ok. Tuff call here. I’m sure if they win out they get home advantage if they haven’t already so there’s another reason to really think about this. Do any of them run much ? That should stop unless really necessary. I haven’t been following NFL much though
