Hi All

I’m off to the UAE in a few weeks. Does anybody know if the steel RO availability is as sparse in the UAE as it is in the UK and Europe? I bought my first AP (26331st) a while back fairly easily. Now I’m after a 15500 and I can’t seem to pin one down anywhere in the UK without going to a grey. I got bored of that with PP and Rolex, seems AP going the same way now :(

I got back from Dubai about ten days ago - nothing to be had.

I go to Dubai regularly - nothing in steel to be had anywhere in my experience in the last 18 months

You have to get to know the great staff at the company owned boutiques. The AD's and partnered boutiques will only sell to their VVIP's, and in many cases will treat strangers poorly. Find the company owned boutiques, and at least there you will have a chance on a wait list. Good luck!

Well that's not true, I was offered an RO and a 37MM and passed on both while never purchased in AP before in Dubai. Guys and girls at the Dubai store(s) are very polite and professional, kept tracking the availability and gave me updates on WhatsApp on what had come in and if I was interested to buy or try it.

As for the availability for a walk-in tourist, it's the same as everywhere else in the world, no chance.
